In support of its growing vision to proactively engage local homeowners, its members and the community in legislative and political issues, the Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors (WRAR) has hired Evan McMillan as its community affairs director.

Millan will be responsible for growing a grassroots capacity-building network that mobilizes WRAR’s members throughout the New Hanover and Pender County area, while also directing events, engaging social media, managing databases and building community partnerships.

“We are excited to have Evan join our team as we continue to expand Realtor impact in the local community,” WRAR Governmental Affairs Director Shane Johnson said. “Realtors care about the community and with the cooperative wealth of knowledge of 1,850 members throughout the two-county region, our membership can provide leadership on important issues as we enter the next growth cycle in Eastern North Carolina.”

“The Wilmington community is a great place to live and work,” said McMillan. “I’m excited to be a part of this positive, future-focused group of Realtors.”

McMillan can be reached at [email protected] or (910) 473-5605.
