If you have plans to dine at Applebees or IHOP or if you plan to shop at Best Buy, you may want to consider stopping in at Rite Aid first.
This week Rite Aid is giving away free store credit with the purchase of select restaurant and retail gift cards. Spend $25 on IHOP or Applebees gift cards using your Rite Aid Wellness + card and you will receive $5 +UP Rewards loaded onto your card. There is a limit of two rewards, so if you spend $50 you will receive $10 in +UP rewards. +UP Rewards are like Rite Aid play money and can be spent on most purchases inside of Rite Aid as soon as the following day after 6 a.m.
If you have an electronics purchase in mind, you may want to take a look at a second deal from Rite Aid. Spend $25 on Best Buy gift cards and receive $5 in +UP Rewards loaded onto your card, limit 2 rewards.
Finally, if you have a Sony Playstation, Rite Aid is offering $7 +UP rewards when you spend $49.99 or more on a Sony Playstation gift card, limit 2.
The great news is that restaurant and retail gift cards do not typically carry activation or usage fees, so this is literally free money from Rite Aid for buying gift cards. It is always highly recommended, however, to check the terms on the back of the card prior to purchase.
This great deal lasts through Saturday night, Aug. 23, at Rite Aid!
