Bacon and egg breakfast for less than $2

Easter is an excellent time to buy eggs (no pun intended). We typically see some of the lowest prices of the year during Easter.

Walgreens and Target have the best price on eggs this week, at $.99 per dozen. This comes to just 8.3 cents per egg. Compare that to Walmart’s price of $4.28 for 2.5 dozen, which comes to 14.3 cents per egg. In this case, a dozen eggs costs you 72 cents more at Walmart!

As a side note, I should mention that Walmart will match any lower price on identical items, so if you are in Walmart and buying eggs, be sure to mention the Walgreens or Target price to your cashier.

While you are at Walgreens, don’t forget to pick up your Paas Egg Decorating Dye Kit for just $1.99.

In addition, Walgreens is also offering the Butterball turkey bacon 6-oz. packages on sale again this week for just $1.29. I found a coupon on the Butterball Facebook page for $1 off any Butterball product after taking a short quiz. Apply this coupon to the turkey bacon sale at Walgreens and your final price comes to just $.29 for the entire package. Paying less than $2 for bacon and eggs sounds like a winning deal to me!

All three of these great deals can be had through Saturday night, April 19th at Walgreens.
