WILMINGTON — Billy Eugene Stephenson II 1994 – 2025 Billy Eugene Stephenson II, 31, of Wilmington, North Carolina, passed away on October 17, 2025. Born and raised in Wilmington, Billy lived life his own way—fearless, creative, and full of heart.
He touched the lives of those around him with his kindness and his easygoing spirit. Billy was known for his good heart and his fearless spirit. He lived with intensity and feeling, giving so much of himself to others. Even in difficult times, his love and kindness never wavered. He had a way of making people feel cared for and understood, simply by being himself.
He found joy in skateboarding and drawing—two passions that reflected his creativity, independence, and free spirit. Whether carving down a street or sketching his thoughts on paper, Billy expressed who he was with honesty and heart.
He is survived by his mother, Krista; his stepfather, Walter; his grandmothers, Pam and Alice, who were the lights of his life. His spouse, Rachel Stephenson; his beloved sons, Landon, Kasch, Freddie, and Maddox along with their mother, Jocelyn; his brothers, Tristan, Taylor, and Noah.
Billy will be remembered for his fearlessness, his compassion, and the love he gave so freely. He leaves behind memories that will be cherished and a legacy of kindness that will continue to live on through his family and friends.
