LELAND — SSG Mack C. Mitchell, U.S. Army (Ret), age 76, of Leland, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Althea Carter Mitchell of the home; children, Lornell Mitchell (Trina) of Forestville, MD, Luci Mitchell of Jonesboro, GA, Troy Mitchell of Hopkinsville, Ky, Michelle Lee (Christopher) of Columbus, GA, Sabrina Ellison-Brown of Powder Spring, GA and Vernon Ellison (Lyric) of Tampa, FL; siblings, Theresa Jones (Jerry) of Leland, NC and Edith Nixon of Wilmington, NC, 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
