SOUTHPORT — Scott Edward Feichtner, 45, of Southport, NC passed away March 29, 2025 peacefully in his home. He was born May 30, 1979 in Galion, OH to the late David Edward Feichtner and Catherine Jane Carmean Feichtner.
He was a devoted husband and father, his family was his whole world. He was a skilled craftsman who possessed an unwavering work ethic and a remarkable talent for construction. His hands were his tools, and he built not just structures, but a legacy of quality and dedication. Scott’s commitment to his work was unparalleled, earning him respect and admiration from everyone.
His greatest joy was his family. A loving and devoted husband and cherished father to Karlie. His love for his daughter and wife was boundless, a constant source of strength and comfort. He cherished every moment spent with us, creating memories that will forever be treasured. His love was a steady, warm, and comforting light.
Scott was happiest outdoors, a true outdoorsman. He found joy riding ATVs, hunting, working in the yard, playing ball with Karlie, hunting morel mushrooms and swimming. A resourceful DIY-er, he tackled any project with enthusiasm.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Kelsie Feichtner; his daughter, Karlie Feichtner; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dan and Tamara Barker; his aunt, Mary Lou Schwemley and her husband, Gene; and his brother-in-law, Joshua Barker.
