HAMPSTEAD — Brenda L. Allman (Wonser, Williams, White), born on October 3, 1960, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024, in Hampstead, North Carolina, at the age of 64, surrounded by her beloved family and friends.
Brenda was a cherished resident of Hampstead, where she lived with her devoted husband, Jason Allman. She is survived by her husband Jason Allman, loving sister Liz Wonser, her son Thomas W. Williams Jr., and his wife, Felicia. Brenda was a proud grandmother to her three “grand babies,” as she affectionately called them: Caylee, Carleigh, and Jack. She now joins her parents, Mary Wonser (Pavio) and Richard Wonser, who preceded her in death.
Brenda dedicated 32 years of her professional life to the J&J Snack Corporation, retiring in 2022. Her career was marked by her unwavering commitment and resilience, qualities that also defined her personal life. Brenda faced the formidable challenge of battling cancer twice, yet she remained a beacon of strength and positivity. Known for her compassionate nature, she was always ready with a listening ear and wise counsel for those in need.
In accordance with Brenda’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Instead, a celebration of her life will be held in the spring, allowing family and friends to gather in her memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a cancer foundation, honoring Brenda’s courageous fight and her enduring spirit.
Brenda’s legacy of love, strength, and kindness will forever be cherished by those who knew her. She leaves behind a profound impact on her family and community, and her memory will be treasured always.
