CAROLINA BEACH — Richard “Ricky” Eugene Jones died peacefully at his home at Carolina Beach on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
Ricky was preceded in death by his mother, Becky Jones, and his father, Martin “Marty” Jones, and his grandparents, James “Jimmy” Conoly and Nancy Conoly as well as Tom and Kathleen Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jones; children, Avery Bird, Carter Jones, Rylan Jones, and stepchildren, Issiah Harris, Alexis Lucena (Jareth), Sierra Harris, and Brayden Baker; and one granddaughter, Aaliyah Sibert.
He is also survived by three aunts, Deborah Adams, Cindy Conoly, and Jenny Bishop along with many cousins, and a large extended family and many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Andrews Valley Chapel on South College Road. Prior to the service at the funeral home, the family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the service hour.
