WILMINGTON — Erica’s passing was very unexpected and devastating to everyone who knew her. She was such a joy to be with and so unforgettable to everyone who met her.
Erica was a beautiful soul with a great sense of humor. She had the ability to lift everyone’s spirit not matter what the situation was and no matter what her own struggles were.
Erica was working as a hair stylist at Smart Styles in Wilmington.
She is survived by her young children, Bianca and Aiden Wamsley. Also her mother Mary Fahey, her sister Jessica Melendez, two nephews Jeremy and Michael Melendez, and her niece Deana Melendez.
Erica’s memorial service is being held on Thursday, June 6 at 11 a.m. at Freedom Baptist Church, 802 N. College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28405.
