SHALLOTTE — Carol Brisbois Wright, age 79, of Shallotte, NC passed away on Saturday the fifth of March 2022.
Carol was born in Maspeth, Queens, NY, on the twenty second of December 1942 to the late John E. and Catherine Smith Brisbois. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wight, Sr., siblings, June Migliaccio, and Joyce Spadea.
Carol graduated from William Floyd High School in 1960 which included getting her Cosmetology license as a beautician through the BOCES (Board of Cooperative Education Services). Carol attended Oak Grove Baptist Church, Supply, NC.
Surviving are two sons, Carl R. Wright, Jr., of Supply, NC, Chuck Wright and wife Jamie of Sanford, NC: two grandchildren, Ava Wright, Charlie Wright both of Sanford, NC; a brother, John E. Brisbois and a sister, Betty Goodman.
Memorial services will be held five o’clock in the afternoon in Sanford, NC on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at The Farm on Cotton, 2454 Cotton Road, Sanford, NC 27330 and on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at two o’clock in the afternoon in the Oak Grove Baptist Church with The Reverend Kenny Locklear officiating.
