BOILING SPRING LAKES — Lee Alsbury, 60, passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2021.

Mr. Alsbury was born May 26, 1960, son of Jannette Curtis Alsbury and the late Herbert William Alsbury. Lee was a carpenter on Bald Head Island for 29 years. He loved to draw and color. Lee loved his wife, NASCAR, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Benton.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Alsbury; mother Jannette “Jenny” Alsbury; four children, Regina Fritchey, Anica McNichol, and her husband, Tim, Margie Alsbury, and her husband, Todd, and Ashley Wilson, and her husband, Jimmy; seven grandchildren, Jason, Andy, Wesley, Ashton, Lauryn, Emilee and Blake; brother, Victor Alsbury; and several loving cousins and extended family members.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 16, at Peacock – Newnam & White Funeral Home Chapel.
