WILMINGTON — Theodore Julius “Ted” Nemeth Jr., 76, passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare. He was born Nov. 27, 1943, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Ted received a master’s degree from West Virginia University in 1970 and later attended Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital in Philadelphia, graduating in 1977.
Ted was a respiratory therapist on the Eastern Shore of Maryland at Easton Memorial Hospital and nursing homes in the area. He was an avid swimmer who enjoyed going to the gym and the sauna. Ted enjoyed cooking and going out to eat. A vocal Democrat who actively followed news and politics, he had been a Wilmington resident for the past decade.
Ted is survived by his daughters, Hayley Nemeth (37) and Lora Calo (32); and grandchildren, Jude Nemeth (2), Indigo Nemeth (2), Violet Calo (5) and Crew Hosler (2 months).
