SUNSET BEACH — Michael Francis McCormack, 88, died Friday, Oct. 2, 2020.
Born Aug. 5, 1932, in the Bronx, New York, he was a son of the late Michael McCormack and Mary Foy McCormack. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard McCormack.
He was a retired New York City firefighter and U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Fedrizzi McCormack; son, Michael McCormack of Sunset Beach; daughters, Linda McCormack of Sunset Beach and Lisa McCormack of Mahopac, New York; brother, John McCormack of Boca Raton, Florida; sister, Ethel Mahar of Ocean Isle Beach; grandchildren, Brian, Kali, Kelsi, Dakota and Joshua; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, at Brunswick Funeral Service with a prayer service at 1:30 p.m.
