SHALLOTTE — Deborah Ann Cox, 58, died Friday, Dec. 6, 2019.
Deborah was born July 5, 1961, in Erwin, North Carolina, daughter of the late John Ballard Darroch and Juanita Darroch. She worked at Food Lion in Shallotte and Holden Beach for over 26 years. She enjoyed boating, listening to country music and watching the Carolina Panthers.
Survivors include her brother, Ronnie Darroch of Erwin; sister, Rhonda Potter of Erwin; several nieces and nephews; and extended family, Peggy Long of Shallotte, Jared and Debra Cox of Shallotte, Johnathan and Leanne Long of Sunset Beach and Elizabeth Long of Shallotte. She was known and loved as “Aunt Debbie” to Aubree, Hadlee, Genesis, Decklan, Madison, Macey and Alyssa.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec.10, at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
