WILMINGTON — Nicholas L. Oates, 40, passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019.
He is survived by his parents, Carl and Gwen Oates of Faison; and brother, Dr. Jerry Oates (Sonya) of Leland.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 3701 Princess Place Drive, Wilmington. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. The family requests casual attire.
