WILMINGTON — Anna May Evanko, 74, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born June 1, 1944, in Rochester, New York, Anna was the daughter of the late James and Pauline Lo Verme. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, John Evanko. They were Wilmington residents for several years and members of the parish of St. Stanislaus Church.
Anna is survived by her children, John Evanko of Wilmington, Jean Marie Evanko Phillips, and her husband, David, and son, Tobias, of Gastonia, Grace Pauline Evanko Sullivan, and her husband Kenyata, their son, Bremen, and daughter, Anne Elizabeth, of Wilmington.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 30, at St. Stanislaus Church, 4849 Castle Hayne Road.
