ASH — Sheila Ann Simmons, 48, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018.
She is survived by her parents, Douglas and Sandra Garrett; sister, Mary Moore (Danny); brother, David Garrett (Heather); daughter, Savannah Barry (Michael); grandchildren, Adalynn, Gracelynn and Tanner; nieces, Alexis, Brittany, Jessica, Brooklyn; and Sheila’s longtime boyfriend, Jerrett Smith.
Sheila was a kind, beautiful, loving daughter, sister, mother and grandma. She was best known for her love of animals. There was never an animal she wouldn’t take in and care for. She was very talented with crafts and obsessed with the color pink. If you spent any amount of time with her, you could always count on some sort of prank or silly joke.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. I hope everyone will find comfort in knowing she is in good company smiling down on us in heaven.
