CASTLE HAYNE — Aloma G. Hardison, 74, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Albert Hardison.
She was born Oct. 4, 1943, in Wilmington to the late Clarence and Katherine Kelly Gudger and was employed by Corning Fiber Optics for the past 33 years. She loved her horses, her dog Snuggles and playing bingo.
In addition to her husband of 33 years, Albert, she is survived by her daughters, Bailey Bordeaux of Wilmington and Heidi Shilling of Round Rock, Texas; sons, Rusty Bordeaux, and his wife, Shanda, and Ricky Bordeaux, all of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Seanna Shilling, Bryce Bordeaux and Devin Bordeaux; and her nephew, Jay Hedrick of Wilmington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sheryl Hedrick.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 28, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. Her family will receive relatives and friends following the service.
