Rev. John F. Watkins, of Southport, died at his home Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, at the age of 91.
He was born April 21, 1923, son of the late John W. and Pauline Watkins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Watkins; daughter, Anna Katherine Marsette; and son, John F. Watkins Jr.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Elizabeth Marsette, Joanna Lee and Terence Lee; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at Christ Body Ministry Church, 105 South Howe Street, Southport. A graveside service will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Northwood Cemetery.
