Agnes LeeAnna Watson Brown, of Wilmington, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was 92.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Riegelwood. She loved flowers and gardening and spent many happy hours fishing.
She was born Nov. 11, 1921, and was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Petteway Watson and Gatsy “Jimmie” Lamb Watson and by her husband, Delbert Llwellyn Brown in 1990.
She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Brown Moore (Jack), of Delco and LeeAnna Marie Brown Hamilton (Bill), of Wilmington; grandchildren, David Moore, Jack Randall Moore, Renee Moore Floyd, Heather Nicole Hamilton, Byron Scott Hamilton and Billy Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary and Isaac Moore, Kristina Hewett and Aly Floyd; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel followed by a graveside service beginning at 2 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Matthew Griffith.
