Princess Place-Barclay Hills Drive to close for two weeks in March

WILMINGTON — Starting Monday, March 9, a part of the intersection of Princess Place Drive and Barclay Hills will be closed for two weeks. 

Cape Fear Public Utility Authority announced the closure due to crews working on a sewer repair.

At 9 a.m. March 9, crews will close Princess Place Drive to traffic in both directions at the northern section of Barclay Hills. Traffic out of Barclay Hills Drive will be closed off but traffic incoming onto the street will be permitted.

The intersection of the southern part of Barclay Hills Drive and Princess Place Drive will be open only for turning traffic and no through-traffic. 

Drivers are encouraged to detour on Market Street or Fairlawn Drive to North Kerr Avenue.
