Fans of Celsius energy drinks may get more than anticipated when flipping open the tab of an Astro Vibe Blue Razz. Instead, High Noon vodka seltzers may fill the cans.
According to a release from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, High Noon has recalled two lots of its Beach Variety packs, sold in 12-packs in 12-ounce cans. Some of the cans are mislabeled Celsius Astro Vibe Enery Drink Blue Razz edition with a silver top.
“The recall was initiated after High Noon discovered that a shared packaging supplier mistakenly shipped empty Celsius cans to High Noon,” the FDA’s release indicates.
The error affects below lot codes, which appear on the exterior of High Noon’s 12-packs and is lasered onto the bottom of the Celsius cans:
- High Noon: L CCC 17JL25 14:00 to L CCC 17JL25 23:59 – and – L CCC 18JL25 00:00 to L CCC 18JL25 03:00
- Celsius Astro Vibe Sparkling Blue Razz: L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11
Products were shipped between July 21 and 23 to distributors in FL, MI, NY, OH, OK, SC, VA and WI, which then went to retailers in FL, NY, OH, SC, VA and WI.
Customers should double check both products to ensure the lots codes don’t match the contaminated product lot codes. If they do, dispose of them, return to the retailer for a refund, or contact consumerrelations@highnoonvodka.com.
