SOUTHPORT — According to the City of Southport, a road is scheduled to be resurfaced, in effect impeding traffic.
Crews will be working on E. Bay St. during the first half of June; the road will be closed for the duration of the project. Also closed to thru traffic will be S. Howe Street, I AM Street, S. Davis, and Atlantic Avenue; only residents and employees of businesses in the vicinity will be allowed passage.
