Man arrested in connection to Bojangles robbery

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department have made an arrest in the robbery of a local Bojangles.

According to a release from the WPD, officers arrested Montrell Deonta Hunt in connection to a robbery that took place Mar. 2 at a Bojangles on Market Street. The 36-year-old was taken into custody on Mar. 9.

Hunt has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, the release noted. He is currently being held at the the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
