WILMINGTON — The City of Wilmington has adjusted its trash and recycling schedule for the holidays.
Customers scheduled for Friday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) will have their trash, recycling and yard waste collected collected on Wednesday, Dec. 22. Bulky items for Wednesday must be scheduled before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21 by calling 910-341-7875.
Customers scheduled for pick up on Friday, Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve) will have their trash, recycling and yard waste collected on Wednesday, Dec. 29. Bulky items for Monday, Jan. 3, must be scheduled before 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30.
All materials should be placed outside the evening prior. Crews may arrive early the next day.
The City of Wilmington is closing all offices and facilities Thursday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Dec. 27 and on Friday, Dec. 31.
