Officers confiscate 39 heroin bindles, arrest man on drug charges

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department have arrested a 34-year-old on multiple drug charges following a Sunday traffic stop.

According to law enforcement, officers pulled over Doryll McKoy in the 200 block of Montgomery Avenue just after 5:30 p.m. The police K-9 conducted a search of the vehicle, leading officers to finding many narcotics, including methamphetamine, cocaine, oxycodone, fentanyl, marijuana, and nearly 39 bindles of heroin.

McKoy faces charges including:

  • PWIMSD Schedule VI Controlled Substance
  • PWIMSD Schedule II Controlled Substance
  • Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance
  • Felony Possession Schedule VI Controlled Substance
  • No Operator’s License

He is being held at the NHSO Detention Center with a $175,000 secured bond.
