Few government meetings are taking place this week around the tri-county, but Port City Daily has shared those that will happen. If there’s an item of public interest, we included it as well.
Monday, Nov. 25
The New Hanover County Board of Education will have an agenda review meeting at 2 p.m. in the NHC Board of Education Center. It’s livestreamed here.
Tuesday, Nov. 26
Pender County Schools is having a Committee of the Whole meeting at 9 a.m. at the Dr. Katherine Herring Resource Center, 798 US HWY 117 S., Burgaw. It can be livestreamed on the Pender County Schools YouTube channel. The agenda includes an adoption of the school improvement plan.
The North Carolina State Board of Elections will meet at 11 a.m. in the Board Room of the Third Floor of the Dobbs Building, 430 N. Salisbury St. in Raleigh. It’s open to the public and can be accessed remotely online here with password NCSBE or by calling in: 415-655-0003, enter access code 2424 206 7441#, passcode 62723#. Meeting materials will be posted as they are available to the State Board’s meeting webpage. The results of the 2024 Election will be canvassed, according to the agenda.
