PC Sheriff’s Office: Suspect wanted in connection to stolen vehicle

PENDER COUNTY — An area sheriff’s office is asking for tips from anyone who can help identify a man tied to a stolen vehicle incident in Wilmington.

“The subject is wanted in connection with being in possession of a stolen motor vehicle from the Wilmington area,” Pender County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a statement.

The office added the suspect was seen in the Hampstead area off Cordgrass Road, near Olde Point Country Club. He is suspected to have robbed another vehicle by stealing a purse from within and taking a a dark green 2019 Toyota Highlander from a neighboring address.
