Free access to Brunswick landfill for Cleanup Week

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — Residents of Brunswick County will be able to take advance of free services for seven days this month.

Free Cleanup Week takes place at the Brunswick County Landfill Sept. 18 through 23, 2023.

All property owners and residents will be able to dispose of most materials for no cost; proof of Brunswick County property ownership or residency is requred. This doesn’t include regular household trash and hazardous waste.

Items accepted include: metal, tires, electronics, latex paint, clothing, shoes, used oil, oil filters, antifreeze, gasoline, fluorescent bulbs, used cooking oil, smoke detectors, household batteries, and yard debris.

Businesses and commercial vehicles will be charged normal tipping fees.

The site is located at 172 Landfill Road NE in Bolivia.
