Overnight lane closure on CB Road to last most of March

WILMINGTON — Starting next week and lasting 17 days, overnight construction will begin on a northbound lane on Carolina Beach Road.

The work will take place in the 6100 block at Hanover Pines Nature Park, set to begin Monday, March 6, and last through the 23. Crews will be creating a right turn lane into the park.

A portion of the northbound road will be closed overnight from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to the county.

The right lane affected is near an Exxon Gas Station in the small business complex where Fish Bites restaurant is located. See the map
