CASTLE HAYNE — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office (NHCSO) is searching for a man who robbed a convenience store early this morning.
According to NHCSO, shortly after 2 a.m. the Circle K location at 3053 Castle Hayne Road was robbed.
“The man was wearing a mask over his face, gloves, and was carrying what appeared to be a box cutter. The man demanded money from the cash register. After receiving cash from the store clerk the man fled in an unknown direction,” according to NHCSO.
According to NHCSO, “[t]he suspect was shown wearing camouflage pants, a brown jacket with a grey hooded sweatshirt.”
