Food truck tracker March 23 – March 29: Find your favorite trucks [Free read]

WILMINGTON — The food truck tracker is a place to find where your favorite trucks will be this week. It lists events open to the public, not catering events for offices and private parties.

As ongoing concerns about the Covid-19 outbreak continue to evolve, events may be canceled or rescheduled. Check back throughout the week to see what food trucks have planned as the situation continues to change.

There’s also been plenty of concern about what is and isn’t ‘safe’ during the outbreak. According to best practices assembled by the NC State Extension, based on guidance issued by the CDC and FDA, delivery and take out food — including food served from food trucks — is a “very low.”

That said, there have been many reports of crowded lines for take-out, food trucks, and grocery stores. Officials continue to ask residents to stay six feet apart. In other words, support your favorite restaurants and food trucks, but do so responsibly.

Want to see your favorite on this list? Run a food truck and want to be included? Let us know at info@portcitydaily.com.
