WILMINGTON — Mother’s Day is just around the corner and Two Men and a Truck are partnering with local businesses to help mothers and women in need for the annual Movers for Mom campaign.
“As part of its Movers for Moms program, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations nationally partner with local businesses and organizations to collect essential care items for women staying in local domestic abuse or homeless shelters. Once donations are collected, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK will pick up and deliver the items to partnering shelters around Mother’s Day,” according to the company’s website.
The local shelter that has partnered with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is The Open Gate Domestic Violence Shelter and donations for women in the shelter can be dropped off at several area locations.
Donations have already started being accepted and can be made until May 8 for a Mother’s Day weekend delivery.
