WILMINGTON — Nobody enjoys a long wait for food, especially on an empty stomach, but one Wilmington man took things to an extreme after he decided his food was taking too long at Slice of Life.
According to Wilmington Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Dandron, “Last night around 11 p.m. officers were dispatched to slice of life for a weapons call when officers arrive they identified the offender as Gregory Lindsay.”
Apparently, Lindsay became upset because his food was taking too long and stormed out of the restaurant. An employee followed him outside to try and refund him his money but Lindsay attacked the employee and pulled a knife on him.
After attacking the employee, Lindsay went back into the restaurant and sprayed pepper spray throughout the restaurant.
“He was charged with three counts of assault, property damage, and going armed to the terror of the public,” Dandron said.
