BRUNSWICK COUNTY — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a missing girl last seen in Leland; her disappearance is believed to be related to that of another teen.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 16-year-old Cytlaly Nayeli Cardenas Ibarra was last seen Saturday night, around 7:30 p.m., at a residence on Lauren Drive in Leland.
Cytlaly is described by authorities as being approximately 4-foot, 10-inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. The Sheriff’s Office has no information about what she was wearing when she went missing.
Cytaly is believed to be the girlfriend of Luis Antonio Martinez, 17, who is also missing. Martinez was last seen at a Maco Road residence on Sunday evening.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to please call 911.
