WILMINGTON—The Wilmington Police Department is looking for the suspect of an armed robbery at Kohl’s Department Store on Old Eastwood Road.
Monday at 9:20 a.m., officers responded to an armed robbery call in which the suspect had made it to the parking lot with stolen merchandise.
The police report states that when the suspect was approached by Kohl’s loss prevention officer in the parking lot, the suspect threatened the loss prevention officer with an orange box cutter.
The suspect then dropped the merchandise and fled the parking lot on a gray bike. There were no injuries.
The police are still looking for the suspect, who police described as a white male in his mid to late 30s.
He was balding with light brown hair and a full, short beard. He wore prescription glasses and a gray hoodie with a blue T-shirt underneath. He also wore black shorts and black sandals.
