
WILMINGTON — Late night dining can be tough to come by. That’s why Port City Daily has comprised a list of five local restaurants that serve up food even as other joints have closed down for the night.
From pizza to wings, these restaurants offer a little bit of everything for all your late-night cravings.
The list is not comprehensive or intended to rank any of the restaurants, so if you know of a late night stop that we missed, be sure to share it in the comments.
Slice of Life Pizzeria and Pub

The first of two late-night pizza places on our list, Slice of Life is located downtown Wilmington at 125 Market St. Open late until 3 a.m. seven days a week, enjoy a selection of pizza by the slice or whole pies as well as subs, salads, and other fare.
Jimbo’s

A longtime staple of Wilmington, Jimbo’s is open every day from 10 p.m. – 2 p.m. and offers guests breakfast and lunch offerings. Customers can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying a late-night bite. Jimbo’s is located at 1529 South College Road.
Islands Fresh Mex Grill

Islands in Downtown Wilmington is open late on Friday and Saturday until 3 a.m. serving up tacos, burritos, and other ‘Fresh-Mex’ specials. Islands has several locations in Wilmington and the surrounding area – but the only one open until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday is located at 310 North Front St.
I Love New York Pizza

The second late night pizza place on our list, I Love NY Pizza is located downtown Wilmington at 28 North Front St. and is open late Thursday – Saturday until 2:30 a.m. Offering New York style thin crust pizza by the slice or by the pie.
Might as Well Bar and Grill

The Might as Well Bar and Grill is open until 2 a.m. most nights, and until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. It offers guests a selection of burgers, wings, pizza, and other pub eats. Might as Well also has daily specials on food and drinks and is located at 250 Racine Drive.
