Judge Joshua Willey sentenced Willoughby to 240-348 months in the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections.

Once released from the Department of Adult Corrections, Willoughby will be placed on post-release supervision for 60 months and must register as a sex offender for 30 years.

Willoughby admitted he committed numerous sexual acts against a 14 year old female victim over the course of a month. Those assaults included rape.

District Attorney Benjamin David’s office cited the “hard work of the Detective Stephen Clinard of the Pender County Sheriff’s Office” in obtaining the guilty plea.
