A lottery ticket worth $1 million after Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing was sold in Wilmington, according to a release from the North Carolina Education Lottery.

The ticket was bought for $2 at BP Gas Center No. 12 on Market Street. It matches the five white balls that were drawn and only missed the Powerball number. The odds of matching the five numbers was 1 in 11.7 million. It was the only such winning ticket in the state, according to the North Carolina Education Lottery website.

No tickets matched all six numbers, and the jackpot is now a $50 million annuity ($33.6 million if claimed as a one-time lump sum).

The next drawing for Powerball is at 10:59 p.m. on Saturday night.
