No injuries were reported in a house fire Thursday off Middle Sound Loop Road.
Crews with New Hanover County Fire Rescue responded to a single-family home on Chewing Street that was fully engulfed around 4 p.m.
As of 5:20 p.m., the fire was under control and an investigation was underway to determine the cause and damage estimates.
The house was not occupied at the time of the fire, according to Deputy Chief Matt Davis with the New Hanover department.
