A woman has been charged with second-degree murder in a shooting Tuesday at Carolina Beach.
According to the District Attorney’s Office, Joyce Henry Goldberg, 54, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a shooting at a Carolina Beach condo Tuesday morning.
Carolina Beach police officers responded to a report of shots fired at 7:22 a.m. at a condo at 600 S. Carolina Beach Ave. When police arrived, they found Glenda Henry Bordeaux, 58, who had been shot. (Read story)
Goldberg made her first appearance Wednesday in New Hanover County District Court where she was given a court-appointed attorney.
District Judge Robin Wicks Robinson ordered her bond remain at $287,000. Robinson also ordered that if Goldberg were to make bond, she would be placed on GPS monitoring.
