Sewer work will cause intermittent lane closures on South 16th Street in Wilmington today.
Two lanes in the street’s 700 block will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., according to a notice from the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority. Motorists will need to merge to one lane of traffic, which will remain open throughout the day.
Motorists are asked to use caution and not use their cell phones when driving in the area.
