
The Riverfront Farmer’s Market will relocate for the PPD Beach 2 Battleship Triathlon on Saturday.
For one day only, the weekly farmers’ market will move to South Front Street–between Market and Orange streets–on Oct. 26, according to a release from the City of Wilmington. The Riverfront Farmers’ Market is held downtown each Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Dec. 21.
The Riverfront Farmer’s Market was established in 2004. It is a curbside market featuring local farmers, producers, artists and crafters.
Products offered include fresh fruits and berries, vegetables, plants, herbs, flowers, eggs, cheeses, meats, seafood, honey, baked goods, legumes, pickled items, jams and jellies, wine, art, crafts, entertainment and more, the release states.
The Riverfront Farmer’s Market will return to its regular location on North Water Street and Riverfront Park on Saturday, Nov. 2. For more information about the event click here.
