
Detectives with the Pender County Sheriff’s Office have arrested three people in connection with an Aug. 20 armed robbery in Hampstead.
According to Pender County Sheriff’s Capt. Jamie Ezzell, deputies with the sheriff’s office were dispatched at 2:54 p.m. Aug. 20 to 24630 U.S. 17 North in reference to an assault and robbery.
When deputies arrived to the scene, the victim reported that he and a friend were assaulted by several people. During the incident, the suspects stole prescription medications from the victim’s residence.
After an investigation, detectives arrested and charged Sky Alexis Bailey, Lucas Guy Lowery and Steven Philligan in connection with this case.

Bailey, 18, of Wilmington, was arrested Aug. 26. She has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree kidnapping, misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bailey was taken to the Pender County Jail, where she was placed under a $300,100 secured bond.
Philligan, 21, of Wilmington, was arrested Aug. 23. He has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury, robbery with a dangerous weapon and first-degree kidnapping.

Philligan is being held at the Pender County Jail under a $150,000 secured bond.
Lowery, 20, of Carolina Beach, was arrested Aug. 22. He has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault inflicting serious injury, robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree kidnapping, assault on a government official, and resist, delay and obstruct a public officer.
Lowery is being held at the New Hanover County Detention Facility under a $55,000 secured bond.
