The Wilmington City Council will meet at 9 a.m. — instead of 6:30 p.m. due to potential winter weather — in city hall, 102 N. Third St. The agenda review will be held prior, at 8:30 a.m. Meetings are live streamed here. The agenda includes:

The New Hanover County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. in the NHC Courthouse, 24 N. Third St. Meetings are live streamed here. The agenda includes:

Surf City Board of Adjustment will meet at 3 p.m. at Surf City Municipal Complex Council Chambers, 214 W Florence Way, in Hampstead. An agenda was not posted by press.
North Topsail Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet at 6 p.m. on the first-floor conference room at North Topsail Beach Town Hall, 2008 Loggerhead Ct. The agenda includes an appeal hearing for a fence permit and a variance request regarding a 20-foot front yard setback. Meetings can be streamed here.
Topsail Beach Council will have a special meeting, entitled “Water Workshop,” at 2 p.m. at Topsail Beach Town Hall, 820 Anderson Blvd. The agenda includes a presentation featuring the assessment of water inventory in the town and future needs of the system. CANCELED DUE TO POSSIBLE WINTER WEATHER: Kure Beach Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. at 117 Settlers Lane. The agenda includes updates from various town departments, as well as changing term limits for its Historic Preservation Commission and Planning and Zoning Commission members. Pender County Board of Commissioners will meet at 4 p.m. at Hampstead Annex Auditorium, 15060 HWY 17. The agenda includes approval of an additional purchase order for budget project consistency for the Law Enforcement Center project and authorization of a $70,600 contract for Flock Camera System.
Brunswick County Board of Commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. at 30 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes approval of an ambulance franchise agreement with Bald Head Island and a proposed text amendment to the county’s animal control ordinance.
The New Hanover County Schools Policy Committee will meet at 10 a.m. in the Board of Education Center, 1805 S. 13th St. Meetings are live streamed here. The agenda includes:

North Carolina State Ports Authority Board of Directors will meet at 9 a.m. in the board room of the North Carolina Maritime Building at 2202 Burnett Boulevard. An agenda was not posted by press.
Topsail Island Shoreline Protection Commission will meet at 2 p.m. at Surf CityTown Hall, 214 W. Florence Way. The agenda includes consultant and partner reviews, including federal and state legislation activities, as well as finalizing 2025 goals. Anyone wishing to watch live can access the meeting here.
Topsail Beach Council will have a special meeting, entitled “Public Safety Building Workshop,” at 10 a.m. at Topsail Beach Town Hall, 820 Anderson Blvd. The agenda includes reviewing long-term capital needs and discussion of public safety building and the town’s infrastructure. Cape Fear Public Utility Authority Long Range Planning Committee will meet at 3 p.m at Jordan Conference Room, 235 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes an information item on CFPUA’s 10-year capital improvement projects and programs.
