Laney 75   North Brunswick 67

Laney had four players score in double figures and Tariq Lane used an all-around effort to give the Bucs their first win of the season 75-67 over North Brunswick on Friday night.

Lane finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, while Kirby Kealon added 15 points.

Saadiq Johnson scored a game-high 24 points and hit five treys to lead West Brunswick past Community School of Davidson 63-45 on Friday night.

Gray Cheers added 11 points and Alex Clarida chipped in with seven for the Trojans.

Saadiq Johnson followed Friday’s performance with a game-high 29 points to lead West Brunswick 76-67 over Cox Mill on Saturday and was named Leroy Holden Thanksgiving tournament MVP.

The Trojans (3-0) entertain South Columbus on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
