WILMINGTON — A new Mexican fast-food chain is opening in Monkey Junction this week.

Chipotle Mexican Grill will open at 5505 Carolina Beach Rd., located in front of The Home Depot and behind Wells Fargo. The restaurant is open from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25.
The restaurant features the brand’s signature Chipotlane — a drive-thru pick-up for mobile and digital orders to be picked up.
The restaurant is also hiring employees currently for its new location and offers crew bonuses, debt-free college degree program, English as second language classes, access to mental healthcare and more. Learn more here.
