WILMINGTON — Drive-By Truckers took to the Greenfield Lake stage once again on Sunday.

The Athens, Georgia, Americana rock group treated the audience with songs from almost all albums, including its most recent “Welcome 2 Club XIII.” Highlights of the night included “Where the Devil Don’t Stay” “Ronnie and Neil” “Puttin’ People on the Moon” “Surrender Under Protest” and “Marry Me.”

The band currently consists of Mike Cooley (lead vocals, guitar, banjo), Patterson Hood (lead vocals, guitar), Brad Morgan (drums), Jay Gonzalez (keys, guitar, accordion, backing vocals), and Matt Patton (bass guitar, backing vocals).

DBT was joined this time around by Rhode Island alternative rock group Deer Tick and Thelma and the Sleaze, a queer Southern rock band from Nashville.

“Deer Tick is one of those bands I’ve heard of and have a lot of friends that are into them but I never actually listened to them before last night. They were really good and a band I would like to see again” photographer Tom Dorgan told Port City Daily following the show.

Below are Dorgan’s photos from the event.
