WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH — Annually, news outlet WECT hosts free summer concerts in Wrightsville Beach Park.
The eight-concert season takes place Thursdays, 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. Attendees are welcome to bring a picnic, lawn chairs, and blankets. Coolers are welcome, but no alcohol is allowed. Food trucks, including Cool Beans, Sbino’s Italian Ice, A&M’s, Wheelz Pizza and Poor Piggy’s, will be parked on site throughout the season.

June 15 — Overtyme Band (rock ‘n’ roll)
June 22 — ReSoul Band (dance / party band)
June 29 — Southern Trouble (contemporary country/Southern rock/blues)
July 6 — Jack Jack 180 (pop and rock)
July 13 — Loud Music Company (pop, rock, country, soul, funk)
July 20 — Brown Dirt Cowboys (covers, Americana/rock)
July 27 — The Cruise Brothers (Motown/county)
August 3 — No Regretz (classic rock, blues)
