LELAND — From the owners of Charlotte’s Si Señor, Papis Chicken is now open for business in Leland.
The Peruvian-inspired, fast-casual restaurant opened Monday at the Shoppes at Westgate.

Open daily, Papis Chicken specializes in “Pollo a la brasa,” a Peruvian dish of blackened or rotisserie chicken. But the new spot has a lot more to offer than just chicken; the new menu offers stir-fry steak, ceviche, and vegan “saltado” stir fry.
Quesadillas, rice bowls, wraps, and salads are also on the menu, along with 16 different sides. Sides include plantains, tostones, street corn salad, stir-fried green beans, avocado coleslaw, chipotle coleslaw and more.
Desert options are available, including “tres leches” cake, “alfajores” — shortbread cookies — and “dulce de leche” — mini turnover pies — for less than $5.
The new restaurant is located in the Shoppes at Westgate at 1108 New Pointe Blvd, Suite 140.
Papis Chicken is open every day for lunch and dinner, from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Find out more information about the new restaurant and check out its full menu on its website.
